Title: Softwware Engineering Co-Op Student - FD Location: Massachusetts-Foxboro
As a co-op, you will be a full member of the Foxboro Field Devices Software Development Group and learn about the software development process and be expected to contribute to that process and the products that the team delivers.
Aid in the support of full time software & firmware development staff by:
- Writing Test Code
- Writing Small Applications (likely in Windows)
- Writing Test Scripts
- Writing Firmware code (depends on depth of skill)
- Testing Software
Products include Pressure, Flow, and Analytical transmitters and the application software that configures and calibrates these products.
Attributes:
- Current student pursuing Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar degree.
-Experience with Embedded Software and Hardware Development preferred.
- Experience with Windows Application Development helpful.
- Experience with C, C languages preferred.
- Must be self motivated and not afraid to solve problems independently, yet still be very open to mentoring.
