Event Dishwasher/set-up Crewmember (Part-Time)
Foxborough, MA Foxborough, MA Part-time Part-time Up to $18 an hour Up to $18 an hour Lakeview Pavilion , a wedding and event venue in Foxboro, is looking for energetic staff to join our team.
The Dishwasher/setup crewmember is responsible for Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and proper organization of all property and equipment.
He/She is also responsible for assisting event setup and breakdown while maintaining overall cleanliness of the facility.
This position is in an Event kitchen, and the schedule/hours vary based on the events taking place.
Weekend availability is required.
Most events occur between Friday evening and Sunday night although additional Tues-Thursday shifts may sometimes be available.
Eligible candidates should be available to work until close ( closing time varies but is often between 11pm-midnight).
Must be 18 or older Duties:
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness.
Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils following proper procedures.
Sweep, mop and wash floors.
Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure that all China, glass and silver are cleaned thoroughly.
Clean bathrooms.
Return all clean China, glass, and silver etc.
to proper storage location.
Report any faulty, missing or broken equipment/China/glass to supervisor immediately.
Empty garbage into dumpster.
Practice safe work procedures.
Wear appropriate uniform and work gear.
Assist event staff with moving chairs and tables.
Comply with LVP standards and regulations Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
Should be available to work until close (majority of events are Friday evening through Sunday night; closing time varies but is often between 11pm-midnight) Ability to stand for entirety of shift.
Ability to lift 25-30 pounds.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of LVP employees.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding and following instructions.
Must be able to work well with a others.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and attire.
